Hobo Tote Bag

I decided that I needed to make myself a tote bag for church. It seems like I always leave with more than I come with. So to make it easier on myself I made this.

I was at Hancock fabric and they were having a half off sale. They had this awesome batik material sewn into patches. I think I got a half of a yard for around $1.50. I lined it with a green batik and sewed a pink floral pocket onto the green material. I just love batik material. It is just so colorful and speaks to the child in me. This bag was very easy to make. I have gotten a few compliments at church too. Not too bad for a days work.
