Much to say about nothing.

I have to apologize to all my blog readers. I have been away from the computer and dealing with life. Friday I was supposed to put a picture of a new fat quarter up for Fat Quarter Friday. However I lapsed. So I am going to offer another fat quarter of the blue batik butterfly material. Everyone liked it so I am offering it again.

Thursday I learned some disappointing news about a family member and have been praying on how to deal with it. I have also been feeling a little down. I have been having problems with my stomach. I had my check up today and the doctor said that it isn’t my stomach but the muscles on my rib cage are being pulled. I thought it was my stomach because it only hurts on the left side. After much poking and prodding by myself and doctor I am sore today. I passed my glucose test. No gestational diabetes. I have 12 weeks to go. And believe me I am counting them down. The bigger the baby gets the more my rib muscles will be pulled. Yippee. Sounds great huh.

I haven’t gotten much sewing done. I made a few bow ties for a swap and a friendship block. So I am hoping that I can do some much needed sewing this week. I hope everyone has a great day. God Bless.

It’s Monday

Well I don’t have anything crafty or quilty to share from the past weekend. I was busy preparing food for a Change of Command Ceremony for my husband. He is in the National Guard and took over a company this weekend. There were roughly 80 to 100 soldiers there. It was a blast. We are so proud of him. He is an awesome soldier and a fantastic husband and father. Our hero. God Bless him.

I want to say thanks to Quilt Mommy for linking to my blog about the Fat Quarter Fridays. She is a peach. If you don’t already read her blog you must go check it out. She is awesome at what she does. You have to see her paper pieced kitty. It is fabulous.

My wonderful mother in-law sent me a beautiful gift today. She made the baby a quilt. I haven’t had time to take a picture but I will tomorrow and post it. She embroidered the top with the cutest bears and a nursery rhyme thyme.  I am scared to use it once he gets here. It is fabulous.

Oh just a reminder…..Go vote tomorrow. LOL.
