I guess I wasn’t quite finished sewing today. I got this puppy fabric in the mail the other day and decided to use it in a baby quilt for a friend who lives in Florida. She is due the end of June. I hope she likes it. I have a friend here at church who can embroider names on things. I am going to ask her to embroider his name on it.
I actually was able to sit down at my machine and get some sewing done. I made 10 scrappy blocks for a swap. I also got out the mini bow ties that I have received from swaps and sewed them together. I was able to make 8 more blocks. I think I have 10 already so now I have 18. I still need quite a few more to make a top big enough for my queen sized bed.
I am anxiously waiting for Hancock to call me. Last Tuesday I ordered Quilting Wizard for the computer. It was on sale for $23.99 down from the usual $29.99. I can’t wait to get it and play with it. I have been longing for EQ6 but just can’t bring myself to dish out $150. Does anyone out there use Quilting Wizard? Any advice for me?
