Baby Elam #3
Today I went to the OBGYN for my check up and ultrasound. I am 33 weeks. They are estimating that he weighs 6 pounds already. I have only gained 2 pounds. Tyler was 9 lbs 7 oz and Josh was 8 lbs 10 oz. I guess I am just a big baby maker. His heart beat was great and so was my blood pressure. My hubby got to go with me. It was so exciting having him there and watching him look at the baby ultrasound. Memories I won’t forget. If you tilt your head to the right while looking at the picture you and make out a face. The round thing to the left of his face is his fist. He has his mouth open.
Yesterday I spent the morning with my good friend Jerrie. We made 9 cloth diapers. They turned out so cute. The pattern was a little big . I am going to try to make it smaller. The diapers we made look like they will fit a 6 month old. We had a good time and now know how to make it easier on ourselves next time.

2 commentsHappy Monday or is it?
Well it is Monday, is that good or bad? Mondays for me are the day I have to sit and reflect about what all I need to get done this week. Tonight we have Monday night for the Master at church. We go visit with people and send out cards to people. I am going to visit with a good friend on Tuesday. Make some clothe diapers with another friend on Wednesday and go to church that evening. Thursday I have a doctors appointment in the morning and a creative writing workshop that night. Saturday we are having an Easter egg hunt at the local park for all the kids at church. It sounds to me like I will be busy this week. Oh wait did I forget to mention laundry, house work, and being 8 months pregnant. LOL. Please don’t pity me. I love my life. Sometimes I just over extend myself. It seems like the only time I will have to sew is today or Friday. What is your week going to be like?

4 commentsJoshua, Cat’s Meow, and Dutman Puzzle
As I was taking pictures of some things Joshua decided to put himself in the pictures. He is just too cute some times. He loves being goofy.
Today I made 6 12 1/2 inch Cat’s Meow blocks for a swap.
Here is the Dutchman puzzle top I told you about in a previous post. It is a UFO. Now I have to decide to either make it a wall hanging or a table runner. The blocks are from a swap from last year.

5 commentsFat Quarter Friday - Multi Color Floral
Here is this weeks FQ. Yesterday my lovely hubby watched the youngster’s while I went to Hobby Lobby and Hancock’s. It was so nice to browse at everything with no interruptions. I was gone for almost 3 hours. LOL. I splurged and bought a darning foot for my machine, a new rotary blade, a few half yard cuts, and a Turning Twenty Around the Block book. I have been eying it forever. Happy Sewing.
