Here are a couple pictures I took today of Andrew playing with his jungle gym floor mat that Grandma Kathy and Marty bought for him.

Post Card Swap
My fellow Blogger Brenda from The Quilt Journey wants to start a post card swap. I thought it was a great idea so I joined. If anyone else is interested in swapping with us head over to Brenda’s blog and let her know. This will be a great way to meet new bloggers and make friends across the world. Hugs and happy blogging.
Fellow Bloggers Give-a-way
Jackie at Canton Village Quilt Works is having a give-a-way. She is going to quilt(up to a twin sized) someones quilt for them. How fabulous is that. Head on over and enter. Tell her I sent ya. Good Luck.
Happy Father’s Day
I hope everyone had a great Father’s Day. My hubby had drill this weekend but surprised us by coming home early today. We took a nap when the baby took a nap. We needed it. The boys made dad some cards and I made him a wall hanging. He told me not to buy him anything so I made something instead. My husband likes to Geocache. He has gotten us involved as a family. We are 3/4 of the way to 300 caches found. So in honor of his hobby the wall hanging is themed using the colors of the Geocache logo.

Fabric Post Cards
Okay, I have been wanting to make fabric post cards for a long time. I signed up for a swap the other day and have to make four. I figured this was a great way to bite the bullet and do it. Oh my, I am in love with making them. These are the first 3. I made 2 more with different cats but I haven’t finished the edges yet. I will post those later. They are simple but speak volumes to me.
The Boys
Quilt Book
I have been wanting to buy this book for sometime because I am an unexperienced quilter. I can straight line quilt all day long. I have been afraid to free motion quilt. I think my biggest fear is that I will be really bad at it. But anyways, I found this book at a discount store yesterday. It was the only one and only $7.00. I had to get it. I also bought 2 cook books for $3.00 a piece. How exciting. They are hard covers too.
I went to the OBGYN today for my post-partum check up. It went great.
Some very sad news for my family came this weekend. My great grandmother passed away. She was 88 years old. She had a lot of health issues and her body decided it was time to go. She was a wonderful, kind and caring lady who will be missed. I take comfort in knowing that I will see her again someday. I miss you Gramma.
