Random Blabbering
We had a busy weekend. Saturday we went to a Geocaching event in Huntsville. Huntsville is an hour and 15 minutes from Florence. It was at a restaurant. There were a few people who were awarded golden amo boxes for having over 1000 finds. It was nice to get to meet other people who geocache. We then decided to geocache in Huntsville and then on the way home. We found 25 caches. Our previous record for the most finds as a family was 14. My husbands personal record was 22. So we were excited to beat both of those in one day. Yeah team Techblazer.
Sunday morning we went to church and then cam home and relaxed. We were tired from Saturday. So we watched a movie. We watched NEXT with Nicholas Cage. It was a very good movie. It was action, drama, romance and Sci Fi all rolled into one.
Yesterday I worked on the T-Shirt quilt. I got the first row sewed together and almost all of the second. It has 5 or 6 rows. I can’t remember. Hopefully I will be able to work on it everyday this week. I need to get it done. I will post a picture when I finish. The two youngest boys and I went to Hancock yesterday. I needed more supplies for making fabric postcards. While we were there Joshua knocked a hummingbird figurine off the shelf and broke it. UGH. It is the first time that it has happened. Thankfully it was only $10 dollars and not $50.
Here is a picture of Andrew. He is getting so big. He is teething. We went from being colicy to teething. Yeah us. He is doing great. Sleeping between 5 to 6 hours at night. That is heavenly for me. Much nicer than waking every two to three hours. He will be 3 months old on the 25th.

5 commentsFree Motion Quilting Tutorial
I was searching for a binding tutorial for a friend and came across this free motion quilting tutorial and thought it was worth sharing.

I have yet to try free motion quilting. I guess I am worried that I will really suck at it. LOL. Most of my quilts get straight line quilted with my walking foot. It is safe I know.
Today is the last day to leave a comment and try to win this great fat quarter.
I will announce the winner tomorrow. Good luck and happy blogging.

No commentsPrayers Needed
I received an email from my grandmother this morning. My cousin Steven was in a bad car accident yesterday afternoon. He thinks he fell asleep while driving. He isn’t sure. He flipped his truck 4 times and hit a utility pole. He was airlifted to the hospital and is in bad shape. So far all I know is that he has broken two bones in his neck. He can move his arms and legs. They are doing an MRI today. I will post when I know more. He is in his late twenties and has a one year old boy named Terrance.
I know that there are healing powers from prayers. God does awesome things all we have to do is ask. Thank you for your kindness.
