Today I finished making 7 candle mats. I had some scrappy blocks left over from my wall hanging. The candle mats are about 9 inches square.
I have been meaning to take a picture of this fabulous pillow my mother in-law Judy made for me. She makes gorgeous quilts too.
I have an appointment to take Andrew to the doctor in an hour. Poor little guy still has a cough. He was supposed to get his four month shots tomorrow but I don’t think they will still give them to him. We will see. I am very anxious to see how much he weighs. I am guessing close to 20 pounds already.
Today is the last day to comment on the Batik fat quarter that I am giving away tomorrow. Good luck and happy blogging.

Great blocks and wonderful batik. Would love to win that.
How are you binding those candle mats? It looks so smooth? And is there a batting layer in there? …inquiring (and inspired) minds want to know…
The piece your MIL did is just lovely. I like the embroidery on it – nice touch!
Your candle mats are pretty. Such a great idea and wonderful way to use scraps. I think the pillow is marvelous; she did a nice job. Hope that Andrew is feeling better soon;give him a hug from me! Your fat quarter is lovely!
