Selvage Blog
Do you ever wonder what to do with the left over selvage after cutting your fabrics? I came across this Selvage Blog this morning and thought I would share it with my blogging friends.

Mini Cupcake and Tea Cup Pincushions
Today while Andrew was a sleep I made these pincushions. The cup on the far right is an Easter cup from Avon dated 1983. I am going to sell these on my Etsy store. Hopefully I will get them on later.
Beaded Fabric Postcards
I made these fabric postcards today. I added a few beads for a little extra something.
Exercise, Exercise, I Need To Exercise.
Well I bit the bullet and walked on the treadmill. Yeah. I have been bugging my hubby to bring it in from the garage for a while. He was so kind and did so for me. So today I used it. I put Andrew in the play pen and walked. I was wondering how far I could get before he got tired of the play pen and started protesting. It lasted 27 minutes. At 28 minutes the dryer was buzzing. Which I have to shut off manually. It has been broken for some time now. So I walked for 28:51 minutes. I went 1.16 miles and burned 163 calories. Yeah for me. i wonder how far I can get tomorrow?
Double Irish Chain Quilt Finished
I was able to finish 2 UFO’s this past week. The first is the double Irish chain quilt that I have been working on for my mommy. It is the first big quilt that I have free motion quilted. It turned out ok. There are a few imperfections. I am a beginner at this after all. My hubby said it looks great. I am my own worst critic.
My mom asked me if I had any baby quilt that she could have for a baby shower gift for Marty’s daughter. She is have a baby boy. I told her I was sure I could come up with a top that was already finished. I found the red white and blue bow tie top that was waiting to be finished. I finished it yesterday. I hope she likes it.
Saturday Tyler made peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies. They were so good. Tim told him to make a special cookie for me. Here is what I got.
Aren’t they sweet?
Last week when it was very cold one night the dogs water froze over outside. When I emptied it out into the sink this is what was left. I thought I made for a great picture.
Andrew is feeling better. Thank you to everyone for the well wishes. He has been fever free for two days and is almost back to his old self. He is playing and crawling around. He is still wheezy and coughing but the doctor said that will last 2 to 3 weeks.
Update on Andrew
I took him back to the doctor today. they gave him a shot to help break up the mucus in this chest. They want him back in the morning for another x-ray to see if it helped. He is taking a nap right now. I am tired.
Joshua’s Hair Cut
Joshua decided he needed a hair cut. And tried it out for himself. I went into the bathroom and there was a clump of hair on the floor. I thought oh no who cut their hair. I knew it had to be Josh. Tyler did the same thing when he was six. Joshua was scared to tell us he thought he was going to be in trouble. We had a big laugh about it and he was releaved that he didn’t get in trouble. I did threaten to shave his head though. 
I forgot to mention that Andrew figured out how to crawl. He has been rocking on his knees for the longest time. In the last few days he has figured it out. Although he hasn’t figured out how to do it quickly. I am sure it will only take a few days. He still rolls faster then crawling. He is too funny. Here is a picture of him playing with a book. He is growing up too fast. He has a fasination with books. I hope this means he will be intelegent. LOL.
My mom’s boyfriend Marty got a call that his mom passed away. He was on his way from New York to Texas when I talked to her last night. So please say a prayer for him and his family. My mother can’t travel because of the amount of pain she is in. She had to stay home.
