Christmas 2009

Merry Christmas everyone. We have had a wonderful morning. I thought I would put up a post real quick with some pictures from our morning. Andrew is fast asleep. He woke up around 2:30am not feeling well and never really went back to sleep. He had a little bit of a fever. Needless to say mom and dad didn’t get much sleep either. We are so blessed and received so much. The kids had a great time making a huge mess in the den. It is so much fun to watch them open their gifts and see what kind of expressions will come across their faces.

These picture were taken last night before the kids went to bed. We gave them two gifts to open. They each got new pj’s and their ornament.

Here is Andrew out trick or treating. He is just too cute. It was cold so we had to put long sleeves on. I couldn’t find his brown pants. So he wasn’t on a stick. LOL.

34 and Holding!!!

Friday was my birthday. The years are going by way too fast. Tyler will be 15 in January. I dread it. I wish I could keep him 14. I’m not ready for him to take another step towards independence. God please give me strength.

My husband is awesome. I am so thankful he is mine. He took me out for lunch. Just the two of us. He cooked me supper. Yes, I said he cooked me supper. It was so good. Steak, potatoes, corn on the cob, salad, a nice cold glass of milk, and rolls. Then to top it off he made me my favorite cake. Carrot cake with cream cheese icing. Plus butter pecan ice cream. I think I gained 5 pounds yesterday. I was so pampered. It was awesome. One I will never forget. the boys and husband gave me the new CD by Third Day. It rocks. Really. Christian Rock. My favorite song, Born Again is on there. Love it. This CD will be in my van for a while. I also received some money. I went shopping today and bought some blouses for church and some Japanese cherry blossom body splash from bath and body works.

Joshua’s Soccer Game on 9/12/09

We had a blast at the soccer game on Saturday. It was the first one for the fall season. He played against his best friend Moses’ team. It was hard not cheering for both teams. Joshua scored the only goal of the game. Andrew wanted to go out on the field and play so bad. Poor little guy.

I love how everyone is in motion in this shot. Moses is in the white shirt in the middle.

Worship on the River

Sunday for our evening service we went down to McFarland park and worshiped. It was so much fun. The wind was blowing. It wasn’t too hot. Tim and Jan had their boat so that we could take turns going on a ride down the Tennessee River. It was beautiful. We talked, played, worshiped, and ate tons of watermelon. What a great way to praise the Lord. During the last prayer the wind picked up and it felt as if God was hugging us. It gave me goose bumps. I figured out that Andrew is allergic to grass. He fell in it 3 or 4 times. Not long after he broke out in a rash all over. I wish we could do this more than once a year.

22 years Later

Mary, Laura, and I became friends 22 years ago in the 7th grade. We have been through 3 marriages, 2 divorces, 1 remarriage, and 7 births. I don’t know what I would do with out them. They are my best friends, along with hubby. Can’t leave him out. Last night Laura and I were working on various quilting projects. I told her that if someone would of told us 22 years ago that we would be sitting there doing that we would of laughed and told them they were nuts. Times sure haved changed. Love you guys.

Silly Tyler.

Tim is wanting a picture for Birthday Direct. The have vampire teeth for sale with the Twilight party supplies. The picture now is kinda silly. However we can’t get the lighting right. Will try again later. Maybe outside in the sun light.

If you haven’t ever been to Birthday Direct please check it out. They have great deals on birthday party supplies and baby shower supplies. My husband designed the website and works there.

Lost Tooth

Joshua lost his first tooth. It has been loose for a while. It was being stubborn and didn’t want to come out. The new tooth started growing in behind it. I took him to the dentist and they pulled out the loose tooth. So hopefully the new tooth will come in better now.
