Today Andrew got his first popcicle all to himself. He loved it. He ate almost the whole thing.

Andrew started walking with the help of his toy this morning. He just took right off. He got stuck a few times and had to be turned around. He will be walking soon.

Here are a few pictures I took of the two younger boys over the last few days. Now that Tyler is a “teenager” he doesn’t care to be in the pictures.

Josh was dancing to the Black Eye Peas. (It’s a band Mom.)

He thinks he is grown.

Here is 4 Tennessee blocks sewn together. I am making these for a swap. These 4 are in a quilt I put together. I will show the quilt at a later date. I am going to love making a bed sized scrappy quilt in these blocks.

I snapped these pictures this morning of my little professor.

Doesn’t it look like he is reading the back of the book?

One year ago today my beautiful baby boy came into the world. What a blessing from God. We are truly blessed.
Andrew will be one on Saturday. It is so hard to believe. This year has just flown by. I don’t want him to grow up. He is so adorable just the way he is.
I don’t have any sewing news or pictures to share so I thought I would share a couple of pictures I just took of Andrew. Here he is happy as can be playing away.

Opps I fell on my bum. It is amazing how quickly they go from a smile to a frown. Those pesky one year molars are driving him crazy. You can see one there on the left. It started coming through in the last two days. The bottom right one started coming through today. He has a place where it is all swollen and looks painful. Poor little guy.
Today has turned out to be a coffee day for me. I am so tired. I hope it wakes me up. It is raining. Making it even harder for me to get motivated. I wanna just crawl back in bed and sleep all afternoon.
We went to Lowe’s last night and bought some paint and a palm sander. We are going to start in the bathroom. Yesterday I was scrapping and prepping for sanding and painting. When they built the house they wall papered the bathroom. Someone was lazy and stuccoed right over it. Except they were too lazy to take the fixtures and mirror off of the wall. So we had to do a little plaster work to make it look right. It was dry this morning. I am going to sand down the cabinets today. Yippee. Anyone want to help?

We had spagetti for supper Monday. Andrew sure made a mess.

Here he is being a big boy drinking out of his sippy cup.

I love this picture because you can really see his hair. He doesn’t have much.

My little man wanted his picture taken too. He is getting so big.
My hubby had the truck towed home Monday evening. The guy looked under the truck and said the oil filter was gone. So now we know what happened. It is just our luck. It worked its way off. I am just glad we still had the other car for Tim to drive. I took it yesterday and got new tires. Last night he had to put a new coil of some sort on it. One more thing to add to the drama. LOL. The dishwasher quit working mid cycle. Woe is me.
We are still alive and kicking. That is a lot to be thankful for.
I made two hot pads to go along with the pot holders for my sister in-law. They measure about 9 1/2 inches sqaures. I used 5 inch charms for the patchwork. These were super easy to make.

While Andrew was eating lunch today I got an apple and sat there with him. As soon as he saw me bite into it he wanted it. Tim let him eat off of his apple the other night. So he knows what you are supposed to do with it. So I gave it to him just to see what he would do. He actually got a few bites off of it. He had a lot of fun with it. I did too.

Here is a picture I took yesterday while he was playing with his activity table. I can hardly ever get one with his eyes open. The flash makes him blink.

I have taken some pictures of Andrew lately that are just too cute. So I thought I would share. Sunday we were watching the race and Andrew pulled himself up to the TV and was trying to catch Jeff Gordon and Kurt Bush. It was so cute.

Aren’t these just the cutest little feet. I love baby feet.

Today I got out Andrews activity table. He really likes it.

And this look says,”Okay Mom that is enough with the flash already.”
