Crazy Quilt, Screaming child, and Kitties Oh My.
Well I can start by saying that my glasses broke yesterday. Thankfully my prescription isn’t too bad and I can see okay. Things aren’t exactly clear. But I can get by for a few days. We got a wonderful gift from a neighbor. Mike who lives down the street stopped Tim and asked him if we would like a basketball goal. He said that his kids are all grown up and it is just sitting there. He walks his dog by our house and thought the boys might like to have it. Tim went down there are they wheeled it home. It was such a generous thing to do.
The boys were so excited. They played last night. Tim played a game with Tyler. I had to take Joshua to open house at school. By the time we got home it was dark. He was asking first thing this morning to play when he gets home.
I join a swap where 5 people send you an ugly 6 inch square. You have to make a wall hanging using almost all of each square. So I added a few more and made a crazy quilt wallhanging with them. We have to post pictures and if someone likes yours the best they send you a F8. So hopefully I will get some in the mail. If not it was fun.
Here is a picture of my sewing partner. He wasn’t happy at all that I choose to let him scream and not hold him while I got a little sewing done. He is so spoiled rotten.
When I went outside to take a picture of the basketball goal the cats greeted me. Dash always walks right in front of you trying to stop you and make you pet him.
Dot is nick named Scaredy Cat. She always runs away when you try to get close to her.

Our appointment went well. Joshua is good to go. His sty is going away. Andrew’s ear is all better but he is still rattling in his chest. They did an x-ray and it was clear. So they gave him a breathing treatment and I have to do them at home. Hopefully in the next few days the rattle will be gone.
I was able to sew these blocks together this morning while Andrew took a little nap. Nine patches seems to fly together. Too bad all quilt blocks aren’t so quick.
Today is the last day to leave a comment for the fat quarter I am giving away in the morning. Here is another look at it.
No commentsAndrew Rolled Over
Way to go Andrew. Last night he rolled over all the way for the first time.
Look at that drool. LOL. Too cute. Here he is giving Elmo hugs.

Here is this weeks fat quarter. Please leave me a comment this week between today and Thursday evening at 11:59pm central time. Good luck.
Here is a picture of Andrew trying to roll over. He hasn’t made it yet but he is close. I took him to the doctor yesterday. He has an ear infection and some chest congestion. They gave him some meds and gave him a breathing treatment at the office.
Here is a picture I took this morning. I can’t believe he is already four months old.

1 commentLog Cabin Candle Mat
I made this log cabin candle mat this morning for one of my aunts who just had surgery. It measures 9 x 9 inches. And the best part is that it is made from using scraps. I didn’t have to buy anything. Yeah. Now I want to make some for myself.
I received this fabric postcard the other day from a swap partner named Dorothy. Isn’t it adorable. I love it.
Here are a few pictures of Andrew that I took yesterday. He is getting so big and fast. I put this bouncer together yesterday. We got it as a baby shower gift from some o the ladies at church. He seemed to like it.
4 commentsAndrew Eating Cereal
Today I fed Andrew from a spoon for the first time. I mixed rice cereal and formula. He did pretty good. He actually figured out that he was supposed to swallow it fairly quickly. He was smiling and having a good time. For a few minutes then started crying. He wanted his bottle. LOL.

Here are a few pictures of Andrew and Joshua. I took some of them yesterday and some of them this morning.
Here is Andrew during tummy time. He doesn’t really care for it. This is a great shot of him holding up his head. He has his other leg hiked up. He tries to get them underneath him. He resembles a turtle stuck on his shell. It is too cute.
In this picture Andrew is letting us know that he has had enough of playing on the floor.
Can you tell they are brothers? They are the spitting image of each other. Too cute.
