Woo Hoo 250th post. I am going to give away 2 fat quarters and a mini cupcake ornament on November 28th. One fat quarter will be a surprise and the other is going to be this poinsettia print. Today I finished making 7 candle mats. I had some scrappy blocks left over from my wall hanging. The candle mats are about 9 inches square.

I have been meaning to take a picture of this fabulous pillow my mother in-law Judy made for me. She makes gorgeous quilts too.

I have an appointment to take Andrew to the doctor in an hour. Poor little guy still has a cough. He was supposed to get his four month shots tomorrow but I don’t think they will still give them to him. We will see. I am very anxious to see how much he weighs. I am guessing close to 20 pounds already.

So I goofed and got side tracked yesterday. I could just kick myself. Sorry to all of you faithful bloggers who came to see the fat quarter. I am giving away the red 30’s material again. It was a big hit. I just love it. I made Andrew a baby quilt using it. It is close to my heart. Hugs to you all.

I was searching for a binding tutorial for a friend and came across this free motion quilting tutorial and thought it was worth sharing.

I have yet to try free motion quilting. I guess I am worried that I will really suck at it. LOL. Most of my quilts get straight line quilted with my walking foot. It is safe I know.
