Kaleidoscope Quilt

I’m not sure if I have ever blogged on Fabricmom about the kaleidoscope quilt that I made a few years back for my great grandmother. Tim got me the kaleidoscope¬† ruler for Christmas one year. Can’t remember which year. The ruler is great. It made cutting the material so easy. At the time my sewing skills weren’t quite up to par. If you look closely at the bottom right hand corner of the quilt you can see where the blocks don’t match up. It is a queen sized quilt. I was too tired to take it apart to try to fix it and didn’t really know how back then. I was sure gramma would still be happy with it. Needless to say I haven’t used the ruler again sense. I think I will have to get it out and make a mini quilt with it. Here is a picture of the lap quilt that I made for her with the left over material.
