I made these two fabric post cards to mail with some fat quarters for birthday presents.

Here is a picture of Andrew. He turned 11 weeks old on Friday.

I am giving away the brown scroll again. Everyone seemed to like it. I do believe it is a civil war reproduction. Good luck and happy commenting.

Today has been a productive day. I sewed two friendship squares for a swap.

I also sewed together 9 churn dash blocks that are made from 30’s material for a baby quilt. The blocks are from a swap. The only one I made is the purple floral block at the top.

Then the kids and I went out for a while and did yard work. Man was it hot outside. We weren’t out there very long before we had sweat dripping in our eyes. We came in around 11:30am for lunch. It was getting too hot.

After lunch I got brave and started peeling off the wall paper in our foyer. It was an ugly green striped paper. It came off relatively easy. I discovered that there was another layer underneath that. An ugly blue floral. Yucko. So now I have to decide what to do next.

Here is the next fat quarter. We will be busy Friday so I am posting now. I hope everyone has a great holiday. The picture turned out a little blurry. The colors in it are yellow and sage green.

Man why are Mondays so unpleasant? Andrew didn’t fall asleep until 2am. We watched quite a bit of HGTV. This seems to be the norm. Atleast I got to watch Design Star at 12am. I usually miss it Sunday evening. He slept okay after that. Got up every 2 1/2 hours. Which is good for him. Saturday evening he was up every 1 to 1 1/2 hours. That extra hour makes the world of a difference.

Joshua is showing his butt today. He doesn’t want to listen. So he got sent to his room. Then he ended up getting grounded for throwing things and screaming at me. He came out to go to the bathroom. A few minutes later he comes out and tells me that the toilet is messed up. He unrolled the roll of toilet paper into the bowl and tried to flush it. Thanks Josh. Now I have an over flowing toilet. It took almost every towel in the house to dry up the floor. Thank God he didn’t go #2. Ugh.

So what else, may I ask is going to happen today?
